Dr. Cheryl Thomas

PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Cheryl earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2008. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Mississippi in 2001, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science while competing as a Division I hurdler on a track scholarship. With her athletic background and extensive clinical experience, Cheryl understands the physical and mental challenges that come with exercise and sports-related injuries. She is passionate about providing personalized care to individuals of all ages and walks of life, helping them move better and return to doing the things they love.

Cheryl believes one of the most important aspects of physical therapy is helping patients gain the knowledge and confidence to maintain the progress they achieve in the clinic. In addition to treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, she has a special interest in spine-related injuries. Cheryl is committed to lifelong learning and advancing patient care through evidence- based practice, including advanced training in The McKenzie Method- Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT).

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her three children in their athletic and musical pursuits. She also enjoys volunteering at church, following college football, and spending time outdoors—especially when it means soaking in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

“All good things take time. Trust the process.”
