Call us about your case.
If you’ve been injured in a car accident or other personal injury case, getting the physical therapy you need shouldn’t have to wait while your claim is being resolved. We work with qualifying patients under a Letter of Protection.
What It Is
A car accident rarely announces everything it did on the day it happens. The neck that felt fine at the scene is stiff two days later. The headache arrives at the end of the week. The low back starts arguing with the drive to work. Personal injury physical therapy starts by finding out what the impact actually changed, not just where it hurts today.
Your first visit is a cause-first evaluation, 40 minutes one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy: how your neck, back and shoulders move, what is guarding, what is weak, and what the joints above and below the sore one are doing to compensate. You leave with a plain-language explanation and a plan with an endpoint, built on the same four phases as all of our care: Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent.
Auto accident physical therapy here is the same care every patient gets, the same doctor every visit, hands-on from the first appointment. What is different is the paperwork around it, and that is where a Letter of Protection can help. You don’t need a referral to start: Texas Direct Access means you can book the evaluation yourself.
40 minutes, one-on-one, every visit
What It Helps
Personal injury physical therapy covers whatever the accident left behind. The most common pattern starts at the neck and works outward:
Accident injuries that get waited out tend to settle into a new normal rather than go away. The neck that never got its range back starts borrowing from the shoulders, the guarded back changes how you sit and lift, and months later the accident is still shaping your week.
How It Works
1
Call us about your case.
2
We verify the details.
3
Your evaluation and plan.
It starts with a phone call. Tell us what happened and whether an attorney is involved, and our front desk will tell you what information we’ll need from you or your attorney. Because every case is different, we verify the details before treatment begins, so nobody is surprised later.
Once that is settled, care looks like care for every other patient here. Your first visit is a cause-first evaluation with hands-on treatment in the same session. Every visit after is one-on-one with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy, and your progress is measured and written down as you go, which is what you would want from your care whether or not there is a claim attached to it.
Letter of Protection
If you’ve been injured in a car accident or other personal injury case, getting the physical therapy you need shouldn’t have to wait while your claim is being resolved.
Propel Physical Therapy works with qualifying personal injury patients under a Letter of Protection (LOP). This may allow you to receive treatment while your legal case is ongoing, with payment handled according to the terms of the LOP.
We regularly work with patients, attorneys, and other healthcare providers to help make the rehabilitation process as smooth as possible.

Which of these you need is decided at the evaluation, by what your body shows us, not by the type of case.
Questions, Answered
Yes. Propel Physical Therapy works with qualifying personal injury patients under Letters of Protection. Because every case is different, our team will verify the details with you and/or your attorney before beginning treatment.
It’s worth an evaluation. Neck and back symptoms after a car accident often show up a day or more later, and stiffness that gets waited out tends to settle into a new normal. A cause-first evaluation tells you what the accident actually changed and whether you need a plan at all.
No. Texas Direct Access means you can book an evaluation without seeing another provider first. If your attorney or your case calls for specific documentation, tell us when you call and we’ll let you know what we’ll need.
Wear clothes you can move in, and bring any imaging or reports you already have, your insurance card if you have one, and your attorney’s contact information if you have an attorney. Our front desk will tell you ahead of time if anything else is needed for your case.
